If you have a BlackBerry, one of the things that you probably love about it is the email.  After a while those messages begin to build up and you will need to delete them.  Here’s how to delete multiple email messages on your BlackBerry Bold:

Highlight any message.

Hold down the ALT key.

Scroll through as many messages as you like with the trackball.

Take your finger off of the ALT key.

Click Menu.

Then click Delete Messages.

If you would like to delete messages before a certain date, do this:

Highlight a period of dates.

Click Menu.

Then click Delete Prior.

Then click Delete.

The messages should now be gone, and you should now have more free space.

I don’t think it is the alt key. It is the Shift key that you press.

it’s not the Alt key but the key where you can turn letters into capitals. I just did it just then.

What moron wrote this? I tried over and over to delete messages following these instructions by holding down the -ALT key. When that didn’t work, I finally took my phone to an AT&T store. They said that I had to hold down the -SHIFT key and showed me how to correctly delete messages.

What a waste of time sites like these are!
