BlackBerry Bold - Why Can’t I Make Calls?

If you are having a problem successfully completing calls, it may be because some networks may not fully accept the Supported Coding List by 3GPP standards.  Follow these steps to configure the Restrict My Identity option:

Press the Send key.

Display the menu, then click Options.

Then click General Options.

Then click Restrict My Identity, and choose Never or Always.

Display the menu, then click Save.

It should now be possible to complete calls on your BlackBerry Bold.
