BlackBerry Curve - How to Delete Just One Application
Posted on 2008 under BlackBerry Curve |You do not have to erase all of the data, or all of the applications on your BlackBerry Curve. If you would like to delete just one application, here is how you can do that:
In your Settings choose Applications.
When all of your applications finish loading simply highlight the one you wish to delete, and click the Menu key.
Then choose Delete (you may have to scroll down).
The application should no longer appear on your BlackBerry Curve.

My phone does not show the option to delete. Mine only has the options to Move, Hide or switch Application. I have a Blackberry Curve phone. Is there another way to delete an Application?
Thanks
Kristy

Found on Yahoo! Answers:
My Curve didn’t have the option in the settings either. Here’s the answer I found that worked:
“Go to ‘Options’ then ‘Advanced Options’ then ‘Applications.’ Click the menu button (with all the dots on it) and select delete.”

Thanks for posting your answer. The original post didn’t help me a single bit, and I was about to seek another website when I saw your response.
Note to the OP: it’s a good idea to post step-by-step instructions, instead of just general instructions skipping a few steps.

well, a big problem is some items are created in your phone. I have a balckberry curve. I find that ringtones, sample pictures and a rubbish music are locked as ” only read” files. you just can use, no way to delete off your phone. I can bear that pictures and ringtones, but that music bothers, whenever you use music player, it comes in to music list. and even you cannot delete tha name from music list!
