If you are having problems finding the Short Message Service inbox folder on your BlackBerry Curve, the setting to display separate SMS and email message inboxes is probably not turned on. To turn the setting on, just follow these steps:
Click Messages on the home screen.
Display the menu, then click Options.
Then click General Options.
Scroll to SMS and Email Inboxes and change to Separate.
Display the menu, then click Save.
Your SMS and email inboxes should now be separate on your BlackBerry Curve.

Unfortunately the instructions miss out a step - you have to select Theme Controlled under SMS and Email Inboxes. This is NOT intutive! What does Theme Controlled mean??
