The BlackBerry Storm is the newest creation of Research In Motion, and it’s also BlackBerrys first touch phone. The Storm should be released soon, and when that happens it may very well put some water all over the hopes of Apple and the iPhone 3G…or perhaps not, as the iPhone has already been out for a while and many people love the iPhone. In any event, it will be another battle of BlackBerry vs. iPhone, and it’s been a very close one so far even considering that the Bold and the Storm have not been released inside the U.S.
The following picture is very close to the actual size of the new BlackBerry Storm:
Height = 4.4″
Width = 2.5″
Depth = .5″
Weight = 4.1oz

meh, the blackberry site shows a phone more squat. not elongated like the dare or iphone but more like a fat little blackberry
i won’t get it till i hold it in my hand - i am not a fan visually of a squat blackberry storm…
in my hand, checking it out, i think i will find it to be everything i thought the dare wasn’t - and i was fine with that… but now i want that pda functionality and i am willing to resell my dare to the right host

I have a Blackberry Storm and I held it up to the picture it is very close to actual size. It IS elongated and not squatty like a normal blackberry. I am stationed in the UK and I am a previous Verizon user, and the Dare is a much better phone, but since I had to leave I couldnt keep my verizon contract, but a provider over here had the Storm, and not anything else familiar. You should go with the Dare definitely.
