On your BlackBerry device you should have a number of LED indicators, or different color lights that will flash to notify you of something.  Here are the colors and how you can stop them from blinking:

Red - If you see a flashing red light on your BlackBerry device it simply means that you have a new message waiting for you.  If you would like to visually be notified of new messages go here:

Applications.

Profiles.

Advanced.

Select a profile to modify.

Select a message type to modify.

Repeat Notification LED Flashing/Off.

Yellow - If your BlackBerry device is showing you a blinking yellow light it means that the battery is low, which can be remedied by plugging into a charger.

Green - When your BlackBerry device shows you a blinking green light it just means that you are in a coverage area.  If you would like to turn the green light off do this:

Go to Applications.

Options.

Screen/Keyboard.

LED Coverage Indicator On/Off.

Blue - If your BlackBerry device shows you a blinking blue light it means that you have an active bluetooth connection.  If you would like to turn the blue light off do this:

Go to Applications.

Options.

Bluetooth.

Menu.

Options.

LED Connection Indicator On/Off.

What is the green flashing light for on my blackberry?

Also, all of a sudden my blackberry doesn’t want to charge. Would this be a problem with my phone or with the charger?

I am going out of town soon and need to get this figured out.

Can you please help me ASAP?

    Thank you!

my blue LED light came on a few times and I couldn’t figure it out since I don’t have bluetooth enabled. But, I had an app running that connects to the many different social networks and it wasn’t closed. Once I closed the app, the light stopped.
