If you want to hard reset your Palm Treo Pro, which will restore the device back to factory settings, you do not need to remove the battery, but do this instead:
Soft reset with stylus.
Hold the red end key after the screen goes blank and the battery vibrates.
Press UP when you see the screen asking if you want to restore factory settings.
That’s it, factory settings should be restored.
