Your Samsung Instinct also comes with a speakerphone function so that you don’t have to hold the phone up against your ear. If you want to turn the speakerphone on, simply hit the speakerphone button.

Obviously, you do not need to hold the phone up against your ear while the speakerphone is turned on. It may be possible for others to hear your conversation while using the speakerphone, and if you would like to turn it back off simply press the speakerphone button again a second time.
