BlackBerry Media Sync - How do I Install, Syncronize, or Update it?
Posted on 2008 under Uncategorized |
When dealing with the BlackBerry Media Sync, make sure you have BlackBerry software 4.2 or better, and if you are using the 8100, 8300, or 8800 you will need a microSD card. For successful syncronization your BlackBerry must be connected to a computer with a USB cable.
How to install the BlackBerry Media Sync:
Download the Media Sync as a stand alone application from BlackBerry.com/mediasync.
Download/install the Media Sync using only BlackBerry Desktop Manager 4.6 or better, and open the Media Sync in the Desktop Manager.
How to Syncronize the media files:
Connect your BlackBerry to a computer via USB cable.
Click Sync.
Open BlackBerry Media Sync and choose the files you wish to transfer.
Open Media application on your BlackBerry.
Choose Music, and you should see your music files.
How to upgrade BlackBerry Media Sync:
When BlackBerry Media Sync is opened you should receive a message letting you know that an upgrade is available because of the automatic upgrade feature. You always have the option to install the upgrade or not.
