Manage Your Telecommunications With Google Voice
Posted on 2009 under Mobile Phones, Videos |Google Voice is a new improvement to the way that you already use your phone. The Google Voice application enables better management of your voice communications.
Currently, Google Voice is only available to Grand Cental users, but should be open to others in the near future. Features include:
- Listen to voice mails live
- Check voicemail on the web
- One number for mobile, work, and home phone
- Change phones during a call
- Store recorded calls online
- Conference calling
- View mailbox from mobile phone
- Read voicemail messages on screen
- Receive SMS or email voicemail
- Download voicemail
- Personalize greetings
- Phones ring for specific callers
- Call U.S. for free
Google Voice lets you decide how and where to route your calls. International calling will also be very cheap compared to what the usual carriers charge. There are still a few things to be worked on, but Google Voice could prove to be Google’s best service to date…

Google’s ambitions appear to know no bounds. Last week, the US Internet giant launched a free telecommunications service, Google Voice, that could get network operators hot under the collar. I spoke to the man in charge of the project.
After Google acquired GrandCentral in 2007, the service offered by the unified communications company seemed to die. For nearly two years, there appeared to be little going on. GrandCentral users began to worry that Google had shuttered the project.
